1. About these terms
These terms apply to your use of eg8.co.za and the eg8 online quoting and order portal (eg8.co.za/orders), operated by eg8 ([eg8 registered company name]). By using the site you agree to them. Quotes and orders placed through the portal are also governed by our Order Terms & Conditions, which take precedence for anything to do with pricing, orders, payment, installation and warranty.
2. Information on the site
We take care to keep product information, images and prices accurate, but they are a guide only. Online quotes are calculated automatically from the details you enter and are valid for 30 days; final dimensions, site conditions and anything unusual are confirmed before manufacture. We may correct errors and change products or prices at any time.
3. Your account
- Give accurate details and keep them up to date — we use them to quote, deliver and install.
- Keep your password private. You are responsible for activity on your account; tell us straight away at orders@eg8.co.za if you think someone else has used it.
- We may suspend an account that is misused or used fraudulently.
4. Acceptable use
Don't use the site to break the law, to send spam or malicious code, to try to gain unauthorised access to our systems or other users' accounts, or to copy, scrape or resell our pricing or content.
5. Intellectual property
The eg8 name and logo, product designs, photographs, text and the quoting system belong to eg8 or its licensors. You may view and print pages for your own use when buying from us, but not reproduce or reuse them commercially without our written permission.
6. Links and third-party services
The site may link to or embed other services (such as Google Maps or courier tracking pages). We don't control them and aren't responsible for their content or privacy practices.
7. Availability and liability
We aim to keep the site available and secure but can't guarantee it will always be uninterrupted or error-free. To the extent the law allows, eg8 is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the site. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under the Consumer Protection Act or the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act that cannot be excluded.
